This. All this so hard. I was told as early as age 23 that it was time for me to settle down and have a family. Well, sod off to that.
Thank JEEBUS I was never given that speech while I was married. I might have had to cut someone.
Oh lord, when my son was around 2 1/2, I got that question ALL THE DAMN TIME. “So, when are you having another?” My standard response was, “When I figure out how to hatch babies from an egg.”
He’s almost 6 now and I haven’t been asked that in awhile. Thank god.
